Its China headquarters was located in Shanghai and served as one of Siemens VDO’s seven global development centers and the manufacturing hub for the Asia-Pacific region. In China, it operated one R&D center in Shanghai and four manufacturing bases in Changchun, Wuhu, Shanghai, and Huizhou, plus 15 sales and service offices across major cities. Its product portfolio included EMS, diesel systems, engine actuators, TCU, fuel rails and injectors, sensors, fuel pumps, ACU, BCM, window lift motors, engine cooling modules, ABS motors, instrument clusters, audio, navigation, and commercial vehicle recorders. Customers included SAIC Volkswagen, FAW-Volkswagen, SAIC-GM, Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën, Beijing Hyundai, Changan Ford, Brilliance/BMW, GAC Honda, SGMW, Foton, and King Long.
